Storyset
For designers who need a ready illustration they can recolor and trim, not a prompt-to-image. Storyset lets you change colors, hide layers, and add simple motion, then download SVG or PNG. Animations can also export as HTML, GIF, or MP4. Free commercial use requires a Storyset credit. A Flaticon Premium subscription drops that credit for files you download while it is active. Skip it if you need original art from a prompt.

Use it when
You want a finished illustration for a screen, deck, or page, and you would rather recolor and hide parts of an existing scene than draw or prompt a new one.
What it does well
- Recolor with a preset, a picker, or your own hex value, and hide layers you do not need.
- Background can be removed, simple, or more detailed, depending on the illustration set.
- Animate individual parts with entrance or looping motion, including a randomize option.
- Download SVG or PNG. Animations also export as HTML, GIF, or MP4, and the SVG stays editable in a vector tool.
Skip it when
- You need a new drawing from a prompt. These are existing illustrations you edit.
- A client file cannot show a Storyset credit. Free use requires that credit. Flaticon Premium removes it for files downloaded while the subscription is active — check current Premium pricing.
- You need one GIF or MP4 that both enters and loops. Those exports are one motion type at a time.
Fits your workflow
Edit color, layers, and motion in the browser, then drop SVG or PNG into your layout, or embed the HTML animation. Credit Storyset on free downloads. Open the SVG in Illustrator or Figma if you need to keep drawing. This is not a UI source file.
