For early founders who want a quick logo kit—not a vector brand system. Hatchful (Shopify Logo Maker) lets you pick styles and tweak name, type, color, and symbol in the browser. Designing starts free, but this review’s download opened Shopify checkout: 3 days free, then a promo store plan that renews to Basic unless you cancel before the trial ends. Treat export as Shopify-tied trial access, not a no-strings download. Confirm file formats in the package (typically raster/social PNGs).

Use it when

You need a fast template logo for a Shopify-bound launch and you’re willing to start a Shopify store trial to pull the asset pack.

What it does well

  • Browser logo maker under Shopify’s tools: industry-style templates with name, font, color, and symbol tweaks
  • Designed as a free design flow for merchants who already live in the Shopify ecosystem
  • Typical deliverable is a multi-size logo/social kit (favicon and platform crops are commonly included in older Hatchful kits—confirm your zip)
  • Download path in this review: Shopify subscribe checkout with a 3-day free trial, then promo months before renewing on Basic unless canceled

Skip it when

  • You need a no-card, no-store-trial logo download—the live gate shown here is Shopify’s 3-day free trial checkout, not a standalone free file grab
  • You need SVG/EPS or other true vector masters for print, signage, or embroidery—do not assume vector export without checking the package
  • You need deep custom brand identity, trademark clearance, or unique illustration beyond template remixes
  • You refuse Shopify store billing risk—cancel before the 3-day trial ends if you only wanted the logo files

Fits your workflow

Open the logo maker → customize → hit download → complete or cancel the Shopify trial intentionally. Use the pack for web/social placeholders. Move to a vector tool or designer if you need scalable brand marks. Keep slug shopify / name Hatchful in directory records.
