You need a merch, poster, sticker, or social graphic from a template or prompt, and you will finish layout in Figma or send a print file—not build a UI icon system.

• Playground v3 plus partner models (GPT Image 2, Nano Banana, Seedream) without leaving the canvas
• Pro adds premium templates, background remove, and upscaling; Pro Plus adds 4K GPT Image 2 edits and precision upscaling
• Live cards grant a worldwide royalty-free license on Free, Pro, and Pro Plus

Skip it when

• You need Black Forest Labs / FLUX via bfl.ai—that is a different playground
• You need Recraft or SVG AI for icon/vector systems; Playground logos are drafts, and SVG export starts on Pro
• You only need a dedicated upscaler; upscaling is a Pro perk, precision upscaling is Pro Plus
• The Free card says 10 images every 3 hours; the compare table and help list PGv3 at 5 per 3-hour window, 3 shared partner-model credits/month, and 2 downloads/day
• Pro is 75 images per 3 hours and 150 monthly credits (1 per generation). Pro Plus is unlimited PGv3 and 1,000 credits/month (Nano Banana Pro uses 4)

Fits your workflow

Pick a template or describe the piece → generate → canvas tweaks → download. Use Pro when you need SVG, unlimited downloads, or upscale/background remove. Keep Free peak-hour queues and the 2-download cap out of a client deadline.
