Style3D
For designers who need a garment to drape before it is cut. Style3D Studio is the desktop app where you arrange patterns, simulate cloth on an avatar, and ray-trace a still. AI layout and auto sewing are on the Enterprise plan. You leave with a 3D mesh, and on Individual, with pattern files for the factory. Skip it for a flat sketch or a photo try-on. Free is non-commercial, and those renders carry a watermark.

Use it when
You are designing a garment that has to drape on a body and leave as a file. Use it when the sample should carry the pattern and the simulation, not only a sketch.
What it does well
- Simulate cloth on an avatar, including on the free plan, then ray-trace a still
- Pull patterns, garments, and fabrics from the library: 30 downloads a week on Free and Individual, unlimited on Enterprise and Academic
- On Individual and above, use marker, grading, notch, and seam tools
- Export OBJ, GLB, and FBX on Free; Individual and above also export DXF, BOM, PLT, and ABC
- On Enterprise, let AI arrange pattern pieces and set the sewing before you simulate
Skip it when
- You need a flat illustration or a photo try-on and have no pattern to simulate
- Free is non-commercial, and rendered stills include a watermark
- Free cannot import DXF, and it cannot export DXF, BOM, PLT, or ABC
- Marker, grading, notch, and seam start on Individual
- AI layout, auto sewing, cloud collaboration, and cloud rendering are off Free and Individual
- A company with two or more people is outside Individual
- Academic is for educational use
Fits your workflow
Build the garment in Style3D Studio, simulate the drape, and export OBJ, GLB, or FBX. Choose Individual for your own commercial work when you need DXF, a BOM, grading, and renders without a watermark. Choose Enterprise when a team of two or more needs AI layout, auto sewing, or cloud rendering. Academic includes the cloud tools for teaching.
