Use it when

You need a pitch, proposal, or social carousel generated as a whole deck, will export PDF or PPT, and may rehearse with AI Q&A before you present—without installing a Slides or PowerPoint add-on.

What it does well

• Prompt-based slide edits, AI image generation, unlimited storage, private folders, and version history on Pro and up
• Loop on Pro+: practice delivery, simulate audience questions, feedback on pacing and clarity
• Business adds Brand Kit, custom domain, team workspace, 1,000 AI credits per seat/month, and priority support. Enterprise adds custom branding systems, role-based access, and dedicated support

Skip it when

• You must stay inside Google Slides or PowerPoint—that is Plus AI, not this standalone Studio
• You need a free file to leave with. Live editor: only the first three slides unlock; later slides say Upgrade to unlock, and Download does not work without a plan
• Pro is 750 AI credits/month (~150 slides) with PDF/PPT/PNG export, sharing, Loop, and mobile. Brand Kit, custom domain, and team workspace start on Business—not Pro
• Homepage FAQ: no standing free plan; signup credits are for a short try. Credit top-ups are for subscribers. Not an icon or logo tool

Fits your workflow

Start in Studio from a topic or file → edit with prompts → Present or share in-app. Upgrade to Pro before you need the full deck unlocked or a PDF/PPT download. Use Business when Brand Kit and seats matter. Open Loop after the deck is ready, not as a separate product purchase.
